Anyone who has been laid off through no fault of their own and qualifies for unemployment insurance benefits, and has 12 months of work history within the past three years, qualifies as a dislocated worker.

The program can provide you with funds for training, books, mileage and daycare and support services. We can also assist with job search, interviewing techniques and resume writing.
Support services are items such as car repair or payments, rent or mortgage payments, medical bills not covered by insurance, utility bills.
We pay for tuition, fees, books and other related educational costs for people to attend community/technical colleges, universities and private schools. Training can be short or long-term, or on-the-job, depending on needs of the individual.

We are the only provider with a full-time computer instructor on staff, available 40 hours per week for one-on-one computer instruction at the basic, intermediate and advanced levels. We have 15 computers available.
